Spherical roller bearing

Spherical roller bearings are designed with double-row raceway inner ring, spherical raceway outer ring and the convex symmetrical rollers. With the same center as the bearings, the spherically formed outer ring raceway can make self alignment, which can adapt the deflection between axis and housing bore. This kind of bearings can take great radial load, suitable for heavy machines used in paper-making, mining, vibration sieve, rolling mill and so on.

Cylindrical Roller Bearings

These bearings require feature high radial load as rollers and raceway are in linear contact. These are ideal for applications where there is heavy impact or radial loading. Due their construction they can be very accurately machined and hence are also used in ghigh speed applications. An additional feature of these bearings is that they have a seperable inner and outer ring due to which mounting and dismounting is very easy.

Single row deep groove ball bearings are the most common bearing type and are designed as non-separable and are without a filling slot. Good conformity to raceways is achieved by optimum size and number of balls and relatively high load ratings are achieved. They accommodate both radial and axial loads in both directions and are suitable for high rotational speeds.

Tapered roller bearings have tapered surfaces whose apexes converge at a common point on the bearings axia. This type of bearings are suitable for applications involving heavy or impact loading. The following types of tapered roller bearings are available: 1. Single row tapered roller bearings  2. Paired single row tapered roller bearings  3. Double row tapered roller bearings  4. Four-row tapered roller bearings

Angular contact ball bearings are able to support radial load and axial load. As single row angular contact ball bearings can only support sxial load in single direction, matched bearing mounting is often adopted to them. As matched pairs of bearings preload for them is more convenient. Retainers are made of brass, synthetic resins or others subject to individual features and application conditions. Widely used in precision instruments, low noise motors and so on.

These bearings are used to support combined load consisting of axial load, but the radial load should be less than axial load. Compared with other bearings, they have the lower friction factor, higher rotating speed and the self-alignment. The following types of thrust roller bearings are available: 1. Spherical roller thrust bearings 2. Cylindrical roller thrust bearings  3. Tapered roller thrust bearings
